Incredibile night cosmic what a BUNCH in ther that nite Being there in the momement was some grateful magic for me this is what its all about.

Phil was always a treat. Bobby was constantly touring and the Phil's were so far and few between. This wasn't the Dylan year was it? I'll probably know the answer to that before I finish my review. Not that it will even be a review. I just remember how loose Phil kept things and the Jams went on FOREVER, (My lifeblood) it was so cold that night but when the music started and watchtower broke out I was wrapped in the warmest of blankets. The music was flawless. By the time Eyes played I was balling like a little kid. I just don't understand why the rest of the world can't figure this shit out. More of a statement than a question, hence the period. Damn I love music. My friend Mike Mizwinski reminded me of this wonderful night. If you want hear someone who understands music. Search that name on YouTube or here in the Archives. He is one of the top 10 guitar players alive today. This coming from a man who has seen them ALL. Over 500 concerts and I quit counting.... Just saw Bobby the other night. I was 2 songs in before I realized it was the first time I ever saw him totally on his own, AWESOME. Remember Mike Mizwinski or MiZ

THE BEGINNING OF MY JUNIOR YEAR, GREAT NIGHT WITH ALL MY BUDDIES, WE WERE GETTIN FUNNY AND THEN A KILLER OF A SHOW TO TOP THE NIGHT. WOW WE ALL KNEW SOMETHING MAGICAL WAS GOING ON AND THE BUILDING WAS ROCKIN! DUO GUITARS ARE ON FIRE!

having also been at this show, i can add that it was one of the all time best shows i have ever seen. the band was on fire from the first note. it is great to have it available in such excellent quality. i had taken binoculars to the show and i remember that when phil left the stage after the second set, before the encore, i could see him jumping up and down in back of the stage like he was on a pogo stick. he knew what amazing music had just been created and was really wound up. driving home on a cold, clear november night, the meteor trails were streaking through the dark sky. an amazing night. get this show!

hands down, bar none, no shit, this is absolutely the best version of "watchtower" ever recorded. ever. by anyone. no kidding.
